UberEats
Context
in 2017, I was presented with an opportunity to produce content for UberEats platform as they were expanding their reach into the east bay. The following two weeks consisted of visiting 40+ restaurants around the bay area taking images of some of the best cuisine the bay has to offer.

Objectives
Our goal was to produce quality, true-to-life images that accurately showcased the finest dishes offered by local restaurants. It was critical that the content we delivered was visually and aesthetically appealing. The content would not only determine the restaurants success on the platform but Uber's success as well as they looked partner with more restaurants in future marketplaces. To achieve this, we aimed to capture clean, well composed, and attractive food photography that highlighted the cuisine and restaurant ambience.
Deliverables & Guidelines
For each restaurant featured on UberEATS we needed to produce a hero item images and and menu item image;
1. Hero Images
2-3 hero photographs that displayed a handful of the best, most popular dishes the restaurant offered. Arrangement of dishes was up to our discretion so long as they were shot as if to be prepared and set out to be enjoyed.

2. Menu Images
Menu Items images would be photographed individually with 5-8 dishes prepared by the restaurant to be showcased as the top, featured item off the menu. In addition we incorporated different authentic surfaces and background for each of the dish items.
Final Deliverable Specs:
1 Hero image displaying all menu items.
1 Menu image per dish on menu
Impact
Our work up until now has been seen by the thousands of people who use the Uber eats platform every day to enjoy some of the best cuisine the bay area has to offer.
